Kelsey: “How about XYZ for your kids’ packed school lunch?” G: “But my kid doesn’t like that.” Kelsey: “Ok, what vegetables (or other healthy food category) do they like?” G: “None. But I need them to eat more vegetables.” Kelsey: “Ok, the lunchbox isn’t the place to start. They are over stimulated at school and won’t be receptive to trying new foods in their lunchbox. How about offering new vegetables at dinner or finding recipes where the vegetables have cheese or other favorable seasonings?” G: “Nah, I can’t do that. I don’t want to cook. What can I put in their lunch box that is healthy?” Kelsey: *Lays head down on table in exasperation.* ==================== Sound familiar?
