In recent times, intermittent fasting (IF) has gained major traction as an avenue to lose weight, optimize hormonal balance, make significant positive body composition change, feel better, and optimize athletic performance. IF has been embraced by not just weight-loss candidates but also well-known elite athletes such as CrossFit Games Champion Rich Froning and UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre who give it credit for taking their performance to the next level.
